Yes that's them, looks like not graded and that's a shame as they are on all doors/windows. I will price for them to be changed cover my ass. Thanx SWB

Im after the grade for aritech shock sensor (i'm guessing G2 but could be wrong) and are they still available ? I have seen some listed but not sure on availability. House has them on every window/door on ground floor and would like to reuse them if possible for new panel (I'm also assuming the analysers are separate and aritech panels didn't have them built in). I have also had a quick google look but could not find aritech on web and I can't remember who took them over. Thanks

All your cabling comes under BS7671 unless it has its own standards like London under ground and the likes.

They are the questions from mybuilder Mybuilder = race to the bottom. The only calls i got from that site regarding security was can I fit a Ya*e system or CCTV they have purchased themselves.

Just buy the SmartCom and put the wificom in the bin.

Texecom Premier Elite 64W Wireless keypad woes

Yes thats an old Premier 412 or 816 panel you have, I had one with LED display keypad. As far as I know you should be fine with the (Texecom Premier Keypad) replacement keypad you have, but a quick call to Texecom and they should be able to confirm.

Texecom w64 wireless alarm

It’s not all going to be mesh I was told just the data links, so existing wireless stays the same. -
Depends on spec, I'm surprised your customers are asking for Galaxy kit? all customers I deal with don't have a clue about intruder brands. They just want the price. What else have you trained on or know? You have Pyronix, Texecom or HKC as alternatives.
-
Only works with the Pyronix cameras, (the indoor and outdoor ones). Not the best in the world but works.
-
I bought a HKC panel & keypad the other week to have a play and see what the fuss is all about. My god the new keypad is bad in every way and the programing.. well it's easy ish but bob basic. I was expecting more as loads on here love it, but to me it's all a bit old for me, the only part i like is joe public can't buy it.

Just made me think of this sorry lol Also as Peter has said the voicebox.

Have you enabled flex set for that user? You have to enable flex set globally and then for each user. im not sure if it's needed as I always have one set, but you may need a zone setting as FX or ER You also need zones assigned to area A & B to uses areas A & B !
-
Enter master user menus (press D then enter your master user code) You can then change user areas under change codes menu
-
What version panel have you got?
-
Do you mean areas A, B, C or D and your user code only allows you to set A? If so you need to enable set/unset area B for that user code.

Your Enforcer panel has 3 terminals for the mains cable, live, neutral and earth. the panel itself does not use a transformer it's a power supply like for your laptop and so will not require an Earth connection. some modules do require an earth connection like the fixed telephone modem which is why it asked for an earth to be connected.

Has the roller shutter not got manual chain override? I cant see a problem with disabling the electrical side of the shutter, give the Police more time to get there. We have a unit that was done over last year and the insurance company have requested a padlock from floor to shutter and the manual chain to stop the scumbags opening it.

You have the tamper/fault output on the UR2 which you can put on a spare zone or wire in to the global tamper.
-
Your installer can setup the option for you to add users when you want (its a tick box on our eng cloud interface). As for your notifications this will have to be done by your installer, again we have tick boxes for different settings. I would say (I dont know what contract you have with your installer) you could request access to your settings. He would have to remove you from his installer account and then you would have to register for a customer cloud account as I dont think (would have to try/ask) if you can have the same system registered to an installer account & customer account.

Ok looking at the G4 manual Yes connect your (J3 coms) SET terminal to the UR2 ARM terminal & the 0v to 0v Then set your DIP switch to 0v ARM
-
Connect output A on the UR2 (Com & N/C) to your last zone. Then you need to connect your pos or neg to the Arm/Disarm ( C terminal and set your dip switch to the same) from your panel to tell the UR2 you have set your panel. This will bring the detectors out of sleep sort of mode and then you should get a output on the output A when devices are triggered. Wire the output B (sorry fault output) with your global tamper to report tampers from your wireless devices.
