is the purpose of your course not to do the work for yourself so you figure it out and have a eureka moment instead of a copy and paste moment?
Are you already working in the industry you mentioned a service call in another post? Is there no one at your company teaching you? Or is Caveo your own company? If it is you might want to proofread your website, that's not how you spell maintenance.
I don't know what your course expects as an answer but I'd start in panel diagnostics and see what the panel thinks it is seeing, disconnect the zone at the panel and measure resistance in sensor both in alarm and at rest, then remove any power from the detector and check for induced ac, then remove the wiring from the detector and check the wiring on its own by measuring open circuit and with a short on, then finally check the sensor itself, check the resistors are what they should be and check the contacts are switching cleanly and that the actual detector is operating as expected.
