  1. You mean on the door contact? Yes, you can disable the rear tamper, but the tamper switch it is always 'on it' - presumably just not fitted correctly to the wall?
  2. Ah fair enough, must have been another ADT one people were asking about on here before.
  3. Local / remote UDL only engineer mode anyway IIRC?
  4. Thanks for joining, your post has been moved as it was added on the end of an unrelated topic.

  6. It's great that a manufacturer is on here answering questions tbh, so thanks. Not a trick question now, but did the introduction of SMPSU mean a component reduction on the PSU side of the alarm PCB (or later/future PCBs)? Also re. tech helpline, do you prioritise 'trade' over 'DIY' calls? I wonder if you did it would go some way towards appeasing trade customers. But, rather than trade being anyone with dazzasalarms@gmail.com registering on a website, it should be someone that has done a minimum of 1 training module with Texe (or had a rep round?) I also know that a LOT of such calls are for stuff people really should know or people asking what end of the wires the EOL resistor goes etc...
  7. Please provide translation. Do you mean another Galaxy panel badged up as Chubb? If so I'm of the understanding that any Galaxy RIO from introduction onwards is backward compatible with the latest Galaxy panels, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. Just to be clearer @Ashton he means we can help a lot more if you are eligible for Trade Membership.
  9. Presumably the market doesn't demand it quite so strongly?
  10. These panels can do slightly odd things. Such as showing the first zone in a confirmed alarm as still in 'alarm' when what it really means is engineer reset required - we had a confirmed (accidental - cleaner) intrusion but it made it appear as if a detector was faulty. I don't have any SPC system with wireless devices (only the capability i.e. built into the panel), but would assume the devices were sleeping. I am guessing test or setting would wake them up - I assume you're monitoring everything via web portal? In fact I have an SPC wireless contact and PIR both BNIB here if you want them at a knock down price! (Just can't see me ever using them...).
  11. Sounds as if it's going into sleep mode - it's 2 way.
  12. Generally you would have to be actively installing - and have installations to show. Just going by what you've said, have you got any actual customers yet? I think they need to have at least ten recent installations to pick from IIRC.
  13. I don't know, out of the frying pan, etc... Based on the fact the top 100 hits for alarm cable on ebay. amazon etc... etc... or the local DIY shed usual DIYers outlet of choice will be CCA
  14. Sorry missed this earlier. You will need 5 posts minimum (that shouldn't take long!) and then you can apply for trade - search for 'trade membership' in the forums for more.
  15. Split this up... just like... er, I think I'll leave it there.
  16. Yes, trouble is also that the fire person still visiting your customer will often be itching to get a contract on the intruder...
