  1. Having just flicked through the manual, I can't see anything like the 'final door' (as opposed to 'final exit', of which there are plenty) setting you would need which is curious. Loads of timer options, EN etc... options, even an option that if the final door is opened twice if it alarms or carries on the timer, but final door to complete set, nothing...? I do wonder if it gets 'sneaked in' by choosing any of the other EN options or something obscure? But it doesn't say anything like that. I imagine to achieve instant set you simply set timer number 2 or 3 to 'zero' and choose it, as I can't even see a conventional option for that??
  2. Have you tried Razzle magazine?
  3. Hi, welcome to TSI. Is hwads short for Harrods btw?
  4. Scantronic (Eaton) and Vanderbilt SPC have a system where images from IP CCTV is uploaded via an app in the event of an intrusion. However, unless you want to be being contacted every 5 seconds, and all night, (assuming the cameras are external), you might have to rethink what you want. Also you would be far better with Cat5e/6 cables for new camera work.
  5. Russian hacker not hooker.
  6. Russian hacker back door as standard?
  7. Fujitsu Lifebook T circa 2015 Sticker on the front reassures me it's from the Premium Collection with an Intel i7.
  8. I'm sorry but I really can't work this one out off the top of my head. Though I was wondering if the keypads being assigned to the 'wrong' partitions could be a factor. This is a real pig of a panel (though not the worst) when you can't use downloader TBH. Lets face it, the series (Common Platform Menvier / ENx) were a commercial disaster full stop. Which is odd considering what they spawned I suppose.
  9. Obtuse, but not without a certain naive charm.
  10. Ah, it's that kind of South West. I got all excited then.
  11. He means me... But it's a little tricky to work out whats going on without a full overview. Did someone else install this for you? Don't suppose you have the PC based Downloader?
  12. Yep it's gone full circle, and I do wonder quite how many of the 'home automation' installers that sprung up around 10 years ago can all last. As you say the phone is the remote now and wall devices mostly simple switches not £300 3" TFT touchscreens in every room.
  13. I'd you'd be better off with any other panel that offers app based remote control of the outputs (Texe, Scanny, SPC etc...) plus set/unset via your preferred automation suppliers universal switch? That's the way I've done mine, (and with Nest too) rather than using obscure panels or devices I've simply wired it up via ITTH etc... to panel outputs rather than tighter integration. I agree it's clunkier, and more work, but it's future proof (if you change H/A in the future, most will offer direct switch module or ITTH integration), allows a better (and probably cheaper as less obscure) panel, and much safer as you are putting the panel 'online' only via the UK panel manufacturers software, not the H/A software.
  14. Yup same here. £9 a month, LOL! https://www.britishgas.co.uk/smart-home/hive.html
  15. It can be, for the full programming functions & online stuff, AFAIK. Neighbours of parents had Hive fitted FOC under BG 'supercare' type 3rd party warranty on boiler (was housebuilder Honeywell stuff) and told without sub it would be basic (local) stat & timer functions only.
  16. Yup, but they haven't fitted them for some years, no? I guess they bought enough to buy direct, and took that route to be 'secure by obscure' against easy takeovers & additions? Even the replacement (chinktat?) wireless system they used to install was discontinued in 2013ish it seems. Do they even do alarms any more? (To be honest; they would actually be daft NOT to; provided it was all part of that rip-off Hive system they install, where it needs a monthly subscription to use your heating!) I seem to remember the Gardiner Trade Counter used to display one DSC system back in the day? Was that some sort of tax thing? (Claiming they were a proper dealer not just an outlet for own brand??)
  17. Fixed. P.S OP you also posted the same question to a 3 year old topic (that had degenerated into an argument between members) - I've deleted this, you've done the right thing starting a new one like this, please don't double post or bump old topics, thanks! Also it never hurts to introduce yourself in the appropriate section >>> http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/forum/14-introduce-yourself/
  18. I've got one tip for you, once you've signed the guestbook:
  19. Yep, that's the exact setting Yeti meant, just slightly differently described by DSC. Irregular choice for a UK panel, but better than an Accenta! Have to say the importers webby doesn't inspire much confidence with it's 6 year old brochure... http://www.dsc.uk.com/z23J49Km/products.php
  20. You can't. Because of the court order.
