  1. Okay, I am presuming a '24 HR' LED on the front of the panel means a tamper fault?
  2. Ah, yes, I really didn't think, there were probably no PIRs then, so you suggest that I just link out every terminal?
  3. Yes, I will do that, I know that there would be a very low voltage if I used the meter on a zone terminal, and 12v on an output terminal
  4. Okay, I will. Hopefully, it will work, I wired a siren into that terminal, and powered it on, and it went off, I couldn't stop it, no matter what, so it may be a constant 13v supply
  5. Okay, well, I hopefully will get it working, it has an SAB I will also try to connect up, it looks fairly easy to connect, so which terminal would be the 13v output
  6. Thank you, I will try that, I was worried in case I shorted something out, there are no fuses inside the panel, so that's not good, I will try it, and hopefully it'll work, anyone herd of 'Revdun Electronics' before?
  7. Okay, Shrink?
  8. I have a bit of a collection of old alarms, this is by far the oldest, and I just needed help wiring it up, it isn't like an Accenta or anything else, do you have any idea how to connect it up?
  9. Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to give some advice on how to wire up this alarm, e.g which terminals would be for the tamper and which would be zones, it isn't easy, but someone out there may know how to connect it up, it was made by Revdun Electronics Ltd and it is very high quality Here are some pictures... Thanks in advance
  10. Ahhh, I see, thank you for telling me
  11. The Day light stays on, to tell you that the system is unset, when it's off, the alarm is set
  12. I see, I always wondered why alarms didn't say whether they were set o not, what about ADE alarms with the 'Day' light? That indicates if the alarm is set or not
  13. Haha, thanks for the comments I just made it quickly haha, nice to know the system breaks two standards, 4737 and EN50131 it's a good idea to make it so you don't know if the system is set or not
  14. Just a little something I made to show that it is important to set an alarm
  15. Thanks, I'll check eBay now. It's just a panel that I really like. I think many of they will still be in use across the UK
  16. It is strange, I noticed that there is no tamper circuit on the alarms over there
  17. Thanks for the replies Just looked like a good panel too have, I understand they are very old now, but I'm sure many are still in use
  18. How was it not? Wasn't good quality?
  19. Well, it is a good little SAB module, it came out of a Modern Alarms bell box, with twin piezo sounders
  20. Here are some pictures of the board, Setcom made it
  21. Yes, it is, I know about Secom alarms, but it is, would you like a picture posting? It is interesting how it integrates foam detection on an SAB board
  22. Thanks, io have an SAB Module made by 'Setcom', it has foam detection and tamper capabilities, just a small piece of circuit board
  23. Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where I could get an old bell box foam detector, like a Viper V-Foam detector. Or if anyone had any information about these foam detectors, I know that they used some sort of optical beam which would be broken if foam was put into the bell box, but that's about it Thanks
  24. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has an old Concept 4 zone panel that has been removed or that they don't want. I would be willing to pay for postage to send it up to me. Thanks
  25. Yeah, the new Homeywell Accentas aren't as good as the old ones. Well, then don't build 'em like they used to
