  1. so even if you only have 1 keypad connected on line 1 addressed as 1 it still doesnt work. Have you also tried a temp small cable just out of the panel to prove the wiring?
  2. It depends on what panel maybe upload a photo of it?
  3. 1000m is best possible case with nothing in the way. Bricks pipes foil plasterboard insulation all massively reduce this figure. Only way is to test
  4. Yeah just get the unit only and it will clip in.
  5. You also need to exit engineers for it to find the new keypad
  6. bought a 2nd hand monster one. Charities get rid every 3 yrs etc Its been flawless and i use it to print the village newletter etc 88000 pages in the last 18 months just on that. But ive tried to go as paperless as possible so print a lot less than we did 5 yrs ago. Not cos im green just for money reasons
  7. id asssume then wired into the inputs.
  8. the nice rf module would be plugged in here. As i should it isnt so im assuming your not use nice rf remotes
  9. as i said above the nice rf module isnt fitted also the nice aerial isnt wired in
  10. as far as i can see the nice rf reciever isnt fitted. Is it the faac module? Got a pic of a remote?
  11. I think the powermaster is 2 way. powermax was 1 way but adt group own it now, may default to different. Dont know whouldnt touch it
  12. No makes no difference. Sounds like a failed detector
  13. If its only when fully zoomed out it's probably seeing the edge of the lens. Buy I larger format lens is another option
  14. You are Al If new Co did as they should no problem. But if new Co isn't approved and or not insured the sites insurance will look to the firm that is. Modern times of litigation you need to protect yourself or you will find you may have breached your own insurance terms.
  15. Not if the incoming Co doesn't default as the original programming remains. If the original programming for whatever reason is argued to be at fault because the original programmer can't prove it has been changed may be liable. An insurer won't take that risk
  16. I disagree I'd lock it, but would charge to unlock. But would reset it for free if the board was dropped off. It's not to lock in a customer it's to protect the company from malicious claims. I'd assume the outgoing firm would do something similar
  17. you should always chnage default codes. So id assume you did
  18. If you swap the bell and strobe terminals in the panel does the bell sound and the strobe not activate?
  19. Just give it power only and meter the alarm relay. However if the led is staying on I'd say its goosed
