  1. re the parts, audi parts have seat, vw and skoda on them. I'm sure its the same for skoda parts. But risco parts still have risco stamped on them
  2. sfi? I did think I should get a tsi badged car, but no its a diesel
  3. ok your on, recommend me a cheap audi front brake pad for an rs6? Yellow is ok but needs temp, green is worse. Red needs to drive harder than I do. I do agree that some parts are better, but I find that isn't the case in life, feel and knackering your disc if you have grooved and vented. You have a rover metro from the 90's alarm. Just get a decent one even if you do it yourself
  4. Audi No I don't service it myself I don't know audis at all I know some alarms well.
  5. ive tried all sorts of audi parts, I do about 40k a year. As with most things buying cheap has made me buy twice. Cheap stuff is cheap for a reason. The low cost installers have to use the cheaper gear. There is a reason.
  6. an a similar note do you recommend the cheap sh#t part or the proper one? You will know how the cheap one compares?
  7. ty you have dacia system at best. I assume you rate bmw? you drive one?
  8. I can see that but I assume you had a few quotes. As with everything they are not equal. Again I ask what u do for a living? My reason is you know in your trade what is good, what to avoid etc. In your trade is cheapest best?
  9. ie you bought the budget risco offering and even the better stuff is cheap. Did you want a cheap system vs a good one? That's why I was asking what you do for a living so I can compare?
  10. I know mate I was asking your profession.
  11. agreed but i didnt nick it
  12. this may sound like an odd question but what do you do for a living? I dont know risco but i believe the rf settings are quite critical in that menu. Also in risco's defence its not designed to be end user friendly in the engineer bits, good installers train on their preferred kit from the manufacturer. While i dont rate it, its still a decent bit of kit but far from diy. Im suprised you have had the help so far from risco.
  13. that be theft then?
  14. ffs al you don't install shite badly and quick?
  15. few pro installers would choose risco, imo have a search for nsi gold/nacoss
  16. it took dd to highlight
  17. defence is one phil was in the Algarve had to come home
  18. when you had the choice and you bought this system did you buy the cheapest one?
  19. bit late? just replace it for something decent, you need good rf point to rx.
  20. to be fair its probably knowledge. I'm not a fan but the kit does work, I'm assuming your doing it wrong. As your doing diy and risco are helping you on a product that is years old, you should look at the best supported pro product for diy. I wouldn't use it but quite a few on here do and hold it in high regard
  21. nice to see Texecom and Risco in a comparison
  22. sad thing is Gardtec was imo worth looking at. Risco isn't. Was cheap but shit hik will make Pyronix cheaper and ish. ill upvote a Texecom negative comment from a pro
  23. can you flush maglocks on the leading edges?
