  1. no I disagree. More complicated to program yes, but use no id say the doc is easier especially if using prox or apps
  2. its not the right fob then. You need to enter the fob again using the numbers on them so you will need user entries per fob
  3. lol look at it properly, its the only rf I rate castle used to be high end, then it bought by Pyronix. Can anyone ever say they rated a Pyronix product as best?
  4. i wouldn't have any of that. Nice bell but that's all ideal panel vanderbilt spc, ideal sensor Optex, ideal bell car, ideal contact elmdene used to be on eBay but easy to find one, usually sold to protect cheating wives/husbands to stop the gps trackers reporting
  5. Birmingham and Manchester tend to show the trend. I'm seeing breakins just staying upstairs again. last time was 10 years ago. I'm also seeing gsm jammers and line cuts. New version of the old stuff and cut
  6. for a cheap panel its fine. Granted no one drives a lada but as we know few class their home security as more important than their smartphone choice id also bet that every home has a more expensive tv than the control panel that protects it
  7. I like em there are loads of original optima, xm, xl etc still in service for over 20 years. when you see an optima in service its usually the oldest electrical device in the place!
  8. its not a g4 anyway its a gen4 re the builder etc the groth market is the unapproved or diy side of the business. Approved is saturated
  9. we sell boatloads of em can't see it being discontinued
  10. Agreed its a good idea to have something that doesn't work as long as its cheap
  11. as I said wire it correctly and it will function, but you need a latching sensor in one place to know which one triggers. Best way is to have a panel that has enough inputs for your detectors. Also get builders to build, get an alarm specialist to do alarms.
  12. no don't wire it as it was, id guess its wired parallel. I reakon if you recoonect it and disconnect the other one that one will work. Get someone that knows what they are doing as by the sounds you have had 2 sensors unable to work for 20 years! yes but wouldn't of worked on a break in. A false sense of security is worse than no security
  13. probably best to start a new topic on it optional extra
  14. yes wire it in correctly. and use a latching sensor.
  15. so zone 4 used to indicate. When did you last walk test it succesfully Ok id say they have never worked then.
