  1. no meaning it could be a data problem. As above follow the advice of removing both keypads and use one on a new short temp wire
  2. agreed but that needs target camera for audio they tend to use the global output real world stuff not what you ask
  3. you can but that's per channel audio. Ive done it using the audio out and a powered horn, but wont work well with an arc afaik
  4. hik doesn't do broadcast audio like that it needs to use the audio out for most arc's. Its a shame you cant set the cams audio out to be global
  5. they may also be worried about bandwidth so slow the fps down and look at an acceptable bitrate
  6. ok Yes I think its a good diy option and a panel that will do what you need. Its stable kit but you think a 'spike' has killed your current one But be careful on current load (2 bells in sab mode) and you should be fine
  7. bit of advice, don't get funny with those you want free help from but there are bodies that inspect installers I would go down that route first If your going down the diy route give Texecom tech a call they will help you with product choice without using tsi
  8. I do think its a bit unfair to get an installer from gumtree then assume pro installers are the same
  9. no c'mon be serious its a north korea unit vs a bag of walnuts
  10. plus add in that risco is 'value' in its main line. However their better sensors and bells are decent.
  11. eurosec is risco 'value' line. I doubt any of the trade members have one in their own houses
  12. you did? sensors ish and bells only imo
  13. I can see your point but it was a bottom end system then. But as its been totally fault free for years then its worth sticking with.... oh wait If it was anything else, fridge, telly etc what would you do?
  14. no its not a pulsar looks like a hkc plastic to me
  15. step back a bit then, you get the car thing. If its supported then its down to the installer? im guessing its not supported. Did you say at the start you didnt want a support contract? why would any installer offer decent kit? As long as it does a year its back to the cheapest car you can buy isnt it
  16. unfortunatly you may not of known. But the the old rule of buy cheap buy twice fits would you say? ill assume here you have a risco alarm, do you drive a dacia?
  17. some rate risco, i dont but it is cheap like visonic
  18. i have seen it. But i disagree there is a reliability issue, some do others dont, like saying cars are an issue cos you bought an unreliable brand.
