  1. Not knowing the application 'if' I just wanted to monitor an output oscillating I'd either use 2 trans relays with timers or esp32's However if I was life I wouldn't I'd want an output from the device because if I modified it and something happened I dont think I like prison
  2. Double knock doesn't comply. Windows tend to only break once too. You might be better with window foil. I hate glass break sensors generally but I'd suggest a different glass break detector assuming you have it sited correctly.
  3. An option but not the same as polled dual path signalling. I know selfmon does this just dont want it to look like signal availability is the same as use able path
  4. Agreed does it not have an output. What is the device you are trying to monitor?
  5. Is this a security warehouse complaint? I have scanned the post mind
  6. Sounds like a comms issue between panel and keypad. If you wire the keypad locally does it do the same?
  7. the tamper is probably global, not just the tamper spring on the panel. One of them will be open circuit either the sab you have replaced or the tamper input
  8. Also have you entered the code when powering it up?
  9. I use ha but if I wasnt an alarm pro it would be way down on the list. Look at the forums present is more important than authorised present.
  10. The ha thing is impressive we all want that it's the only thing that knows when we are out I bed or in
  11. There is a huge security issue of letting anything control an alarm. Think insurance liability in our world. However it should be doable having a pro system with integration. It is doable but needs more imo. However the standards currently prevent it. Some integrations require engineer access between which is daft. I would watch this space I'm working with a manufacturer with this in mind
  12. You need a hi lo sounder for that I see the benefit of connecting the to home assistant or mqtt etc but use a proper panel that can do that rather than bolt on a bodge
  13. yes most panels have a speaker output for alert, setting unsetting, chime tones etc. Some panels this is a switched output like a bell on others its a speaker output usually for a 16 Ohm load
  14. Oh never used a flex thanks gg
  15. Agreed but we use level 3 normally and what you have doesn't happen. So I'm concerned there is something else happening
  16. Isn't the iwise bus a bus detector that will only work on a risco panel? You have also probably blown the fuse or panel. Wires shouldn't 'touch'
  17. Hi and welcome
  18. There is something g else there as a level 2 user doesn't have menu access. How are you or were you u setting it
  19. its going into the user menu. It shoudnt do that unless the code is being entered twice. You also shouldnt be seeing 'boot-up' as that is saying it has restarted
  20. That's a walk test but you do need to test it and fire the external, signalling etc
  21. The missing key missing max means something addressed 1 has been lost. Using that video won't help with miss g 485 devices
  22. Didn't know there was an option for non eol on a galaxy. To display the diagnostics go into the display zones menu it will show in there
