  1. id have a master code and standard fobs
  2. Engineer is for programming the setup of the system Master is for programming user codes, changing time etc Standard is for arming disarming etc There may be slight differences but I don't know that panel

  13. as its one way I'd avoid, there are many pages of it here. one way has many issues the biggest to me is when it detects it sends a burst of signals on the assumption one gets through. If not tough. Bit like firing a few paper planes of when needed. One will arrive most of the time.

  20. its normal practice to change it. If a system fails to perform then they are liable. If you fiddle with it and change things, it may no longer comply etc.
  21. I have to agree with Norman, if it's under warranty you have undone that and given your insurer a way out if you needed it
