  1. If its addressed as 0 then it's not device 11 Have you changed the address while the keypad is powered up? Try rebooting the panel it will then only connect to devices that are online
  2. in fact looking again neither will work Have you got NO or NC reeds?
  3. well the top one wont work both resistors would need to be at the panel and one of them in series with the reeds but even then your asking me would i prefer a 6 inch nail or a 4 inch nail in my foot if you see what i mean
  4. It will work but won't have any tamper protection
  5. looks like you need option 14 and NO contacts to use a single resistor. else wire cuts wouldnt be detected
  6. on the dimesion you can select resistor values per circuit id assume you can on this this too, but ive never done it
  7. Eol resistors are for End Of Line use they shouldn't be in the panel expander etc. If the flex supports seol then you would out this at the end. I haven't looked in detail at the existing wiring
  8. No and it's a issue I hear I bsia meetings. The lad from smoke screen is very active in Europe regs wise from what I hear it won't be long till they are banned throughout Europe. But ask Carl I don't engage in any of that as I don't have anything useful input wise
  9. To be fair it's fully licenced by Mr Wong. Based in China registered address used to exist
  10. probably not, plus id check with your insurer to see if your covered to install chinise made bombs in customers sites that dont have any uk based safty certs!!
  11. Normally your final exit doors would be 'final' you entry route zones would be exit. The use intruder for the rest not on the entry /exit route
  12. Dunno what it is? I was only aware of the glycol or pyrotechnic based ones
  13. I'd doesn't support double pole but I've never used a flex
  14. you will need to replace the contacts on the windows at some point. Id assume you have a 6 core or 8 core cable at each window
  15. you 'could' make it work but it wont be right. Id want to use something addressable thought could use your existing cabling. Not sure what kit you have available where you are but id use a hkc panel and new contacts that would allow upto 10 devices to be uniqely identified. There used to be something called iD thought would of worked for you but is now obsolete. Honeywell have v-plex but ive never used it
  16. You will need 2 resistors if this is a galaxy on deol
  17. No it's upgraded
  18. We have had a rather large upgrade, some new features but mainly security. Let me know if you have any issues. James
  19. Depends how easy it is. If burglar b can Google if his/her/it's target is out of the property id say its likely to happen. Have you looked at the tools available on github just to break into stuff. I used one recently to get into a router mate of mine had forgot the password etc. Took very little time or effort
  20. I wonder how long it will be till these exploits are used to break in to places because ilthe cctv will show what time people leave and that the place is empty etc
  21. Looks like neg tamp return then
  22. I should add if they want the outside bit renewed should they not renew everything? Bearing in mind it's not just the outside bit that makes the outside bit cause the complaints I'm guessing late 80s on the panel?
