  7. billy, you want the best for the lowest cost. The pro's here do the same years of testing and research. I myself have tested lots of gear i wouldnt use in production but tests well I have to say if pure diy stay away from the better pro gear because it isnt easy to get right
  8. imo if they want in they are coming in, some are easier than others but never imo rely on physical security alone
  9. if its recent it will have toughend glass but its plastic so ill avoid the glass issue i see then it has a cylinder or even a bump have a decent alarm basically

  11. the units your looking at are ok. I dont use either. Its difficult to comment as we do distribute both. However both your brands are now used by both diy and pro installer. Id call the support lines and see which support you better pre sale tbh. plus this sounds a bit blind date cilla...

  17. 960h is basically widescreen d1. AHD is pretty much open source analogue hd, cvi and tvi are similar but not open iirc hd-sdi is a digital version but needs good coax. All of the above analouge will work past operating distance but loose quality where as digital just stops
