many manufactures include awful brackets in their low end detectors. Have a look at the higher end that dont. All proper gear does not include a 'bracket'

im assuming you have the cable the wrong side of the coving and think you need a ceiling bracket? i can say ive only used them in 20 yrs of install 20 times tops and never for that reason

i know you like a mig 21, 25 or 29 personally the 25 fighting foxbat was the best mig from the ussr. It had an operational ceiling near the sr-71 for some reason. 75k feet could fire at it from there. didnt know you knew your warplanes too
