  1. I'd advise covers but I do the same and take em off
  2. do they not look to you for advice on whats good equipment?
  3. No it isn't programming. Out of the box it wouldn't do what ur reporting. Prove the panel by disconnecting everything then once proved add things one at a time. One option would be to wire the rear door onto 2 and link 3 and follow the same process if you don't want to strip all the wiring
  4. check the resistance between the 2 circuit wires too
  5. no it wouldn't (bellbox) on a walk test. But I do think it isn't a panel issue run a temp new cable to the 2 devices bet it doesn't continue I think its external
  6. id say you have a cross voltage between the 2 circuits.
  7. It has to be wiring if it was panel we would get loads of returns which we don't the optima has a very low return rate and then its usually because its been wired wrong and blown
  8. Ah did you remove the wiring from 3 when you linked it out?
  9. how do you report fault (ie tel line digi etc) to the fire panel? Is the intruder alarm compliant to bs5839, whats the standby time of the alarm (as the dialler will be powered from it if wiring direct) etc etc etc
  10. If you have provided a 5839 cert then wiring it non 5839 kit would make the cert invalid.
  11. Imo manufacturer training, usually done by the employer not sure if you can get it on your own. I'm sure you can if you go to them
  12. I found it interesting mate, especially the non perm leds
  13. As above anything but what ur looking at But if diy that or Texecom
  14. Again you have said that before. Btw forum works well when all share. Already have one open taker
