  4. ire is a basically a reflective count based on the image. Often seen in 0.003 lux at 50 ire. If you have a mirror at x meters gives a 'usable' image. Its supposed to show the sensitivity of the chip way before long exposures etc came into it. plus sync should be 300mv, video should be 700 above sync pulse but its all old school now as that the old PAL system
  5. I wasn't meaning it to come across that way. I prefer to know about issues etc. If it's read that way then I apologise.
  6. no I think its best you prioritise it. The membership here needs guidance and thinks your playing all for your own benefit? seen as you rarely frequent here till you have new info.
  7. cg can you give a best practice tsi members should be doing? to mitigate the issues as much as possible

  12. Bear in mind WiFi is like old hubs. Be careful on bandwidth. I'd be cautious over 3 cams at low framerates
  13. I'd advise covers but I do the same and take em off
  14. if its an 'escape route' then yes
  15. do they not look to you for advice on whats good equipment?
  16. No it isn't programming. Out of the box it wouldn't do what ur reporting. Prove the panel by disconnecting everything then once proved add things one at a time. One option would be to wire the rear door onto 2 and link 3 and follow the same process if you don't want to strip all the wiring
  17. agree with all of that.
  18. check the resistance between the 2 circuit wires too
  19. no it wouldn't (bellbox) on a walk test. But I do think it isn't a panel issue run a temp new cable to the 2 devices bet it doesn't continue I think its external
  20. id say you have a cross voltage between the 2 circuits.
  21. It has to be wiring if it was panel we would get loads of returns which we don't the optima has a very low return rate and then its usually because its been wired wrong and blown
  22. Ah did you remove the wiring from 3 when you linked it out?
  23. I'm wondering if your overloading it?
