  1. oh on rg59? thats a big drum
  2. 482m, rough guess?
  3. Yes it can. Just use tray and segregate.
  4. if 1 part of the system is 2 way then great. Inferring that its a 2 way system when the only 2 way part is a keyfob. That unit has 1 way detection. IMO misleading saying its 2 way
  5. true two way is hkc, i think texecom is too but never tested it. Many claim the worst is visonic claiming it on the system (power stuff) when it was only the fob
  6. oh oops
  7. k lol
  8. most systems work on polls like comms. They poll every so often in to check. Then they get the command to turn on leds etc. Transmit alarms when armed instantly, transmit when disarmed as part of poll ie the HKC polls every 20 secs, you can push it longer for battery or shorter etc.
  9. who me?
  10. eline is a rebadge. Fine sensor and ive used loads. Different to the mirrored alarmcom based units. Watch for new units based onthis tech. Some very exciting stuff coming from vanderbilt in the next 12 months.
  11. Best wireless I have used is the hkc
  12. It's a basic but ok panel. We sell lots of them.
  13. Depends on the wireless. It's not like WiFi. Each has their own some is good, most isnt
  14. not really the market will demand 3rd party comms so panel sales will drop but peripheral sales will increase.
  15. There is good integration i believe with eaton. Its only hkc and pyronix blocking or planning to block iirc
  16. Hi
  17. stepped cone, get some standards
  18. The cables are probably under the floorboards. Mice like to chew cables. The alarm is only low voltage so no issue apart from the one you have. But if it's been chewing mains cables too you have a bigger worry
  19. get someone to look at it. You have an issue. Dont make it any worse
  20. so you think its **** but better than other ****?
  21. ive seen them in service for over 25 yrs so id say yes
  22. thats not an enforcer though? still using it then?
  23. Best to stick to those you know, anyone can guess at stuff with a bit of kit and a manual.
  24. no a non plug in powerline granted the title is wrong fixed sorry
