  1. The ha thing is impressive we all want that it's the only thing that knows when we are out I bed or in
  2. There is a huge security issue of letting anything control an alarm. Think insurance liability in our world. However it should be doable having a pro system with integration. It is doable but needs more imo. However the standards currently prevent it. Some integrations require engineer access between which is daft. I would watch this space I'm working with a manufacturer with this in mind
  3. You need a hi lo sounder for that I see the benefit of connecting the to home assistant or mqtt etc but use a proper panel that can do that rather than bolt on a bodge
  4. yes most panels have a speaker output for alert, setting unsetting, chime tones etc. Some panels this is a switched output like a bell on others its a speaker output usually for a 16 Ohm load
  5. Oh never used a flex thanks gg
  6. Agreed but we use level 3 normally and what you have doesn't happen. So I'm concerned there is something else happening
  7. Isn't the iwise bus a bus detector that will only work on a risco panel? You have also probably blown the fuse or panel. Wires shouldn't 'touch'
  8. Hi and welcome
  9. There is something g else there as a level 2 user doesn't have menu access. How are you or were you u setting it
  10. its going into the user menu. It shoudnt do that unless the code is being entered twice. You also shouldnt be seeing 'boot-up' as that is saying it has restarted
  11. That's a walk test but you do need to test it and fire the external, signalling etc
  12. The missing key missing max means something addressed 1 has been lost. Using that video won't help with miss g 485 devices
  13. Didn't know there was an option for non eol on a galaxy. To display the diagnostics go into the display zones menu it will show in there
  14. If its addressed as 0 then it's not device 11 Have you changed the address while the keypad is powered up? Try rebooting the panel it will then only connect to devices that are online
  15. in fact looking again neither will work Have you got NO or NC reeds?
  16. well the top one wont work both resistors would need to be at the panel and one of them in series with the reeds but even then your asking me would i prefer a 6 inch nail or a 4 inch nail in my foot if you see what i mean
  17. It will work but won't have any tamper protection
  18. looks like you need option 14 and NO contacts to use a single resistor. else wire cuts wouldnt be detected
  19. on the dimesion you can select resistor values per circuit id assume you can on this this too, but ive never done it
  20. Eol resistors are for End Of Line use they shouldn't be in the panel expander etc. If the flex supports seol then you would out this at the end. I haven't looked in detail at the existing wiring
  21. No and it's a issue I hear I bsia meetings. The lad from smoke screen is very active in Europe regs wise from what I hear it won't be long till they are banned throughout Europe. But ask Carl I don't engage in any of that as I don't have anything useful input wise
  22. To be fair it's fully licenced by Mr Wong. Based in China registered address used to exist
  23. probably not, plus id check with your insurer to see if your covered to install chinise made bombs in customers sites that dont have any uk based safty certs!!
