  1. It will lock out the engineer 'if' the engineer code is not known. Its easy to misskey a code or get the sequence wrong. If you have done this your panel is im afraid scrap.
  2. Well it does sound like you have inadvertently changed the engineer code and locked it
  3. lol yeah so which part of mpt excempt on the 868 MHz did they jump to?
  4. As has been said, i know you want to find the way of making it work, but really it such a bad idea either add an expander or replace the panel. No pro would do what your asking as its gonna be a problem in time
  5. You cant have a set indicator under en al fyi
  6. Id say you cant give admin rights. As you say if something was missed ie not recorded its your fault
  7. Followers - 27, Unfollowers - 12. I didn't know it'd be this simple. Get your weekly stats via http://t.co/v177tI5Xnz.

  8. i know it seems simple and is technically possible but no pro would advise it. either drop a less critical sensor and use that input or upgrade the panel
  9. hiya
  10. you do know tyco bought out visonic?
  11. Agree with the above
  12. I dont but shows the connected gear we have (im sure i have some of them honest) needs strong passwords on the back end it connects to
  13. No problem, we just connect the @WebWayOneLtd device for your alarm system in your... oh my god! #tsibodge http://t.co/59bUQ8vuox

  14. re user manual have you looked in the download section here? re tamper fault if its still in fault you wont be able to reset it. The fault will need fixing first. But due to its age it will be in need of a service as a minimum but id also recommend upgrading gear that is well over 10 years old.
  15. a4 surely
  16. I dont know on that panel. Id assume the tamper circuit still functions in eol mode
  17. Not if you not using an eol circuit to tamper it
  18. I use an external as a rule or copy to usb
  19. How often did u use it? I dont as a rule but copying a dvd etc onto usb or the network is annoying when you need it
  20. Dont forget recharging a flat battery after a long mains failure. You should only use approx 500mA of ur available 1A
  21. you must see the irony? We play at stuff and you etc. I thought canbus was the old old vw tech before kline took over?
  22. Id just do the wires else you wont be able to see the colour bands If you wire the internal tamper into a circuit it will need reistors. The external sounder will use a tamper return and wont
  23. Yes that contact doesn't have a tamper switch so thats ok. I would insulate the resistors though. On the pir there is no need for them to be that long
  24. Sorry Mark I dont know. I was viewing your contact image on the mobile and then deleted it. Sorry. Can you put it back up please
