  1. Verisure security setting Is 5 Apart from I think this post will be spammy well done
  2. Yeah we are hoping for an independence referendum. One day On another note who knew pyronix exported?
  3. Monday is a Bank Holiday so probably tuesday
  4. agreed as long as you dont leave it weeks id not expect it to trigger again
  5. Any more details on the connections or a photo. Need to know some of the polarities
  6. Bigger poe feed then?
  7. yes with no load then check again on load (ie charging) If the charger / dc side is knackered you will have very low voltage which will stop the panel working correctly
  8. if the previous battery had totally failed it may have destroyed the panel. You need to check the charger circuit. This panel should be outputting 13.75v to the battery when the battery is disconnected. SHould be around that when fully charged too
  9. also you need to check the battery is sized correctly. Also it will need a service its more than just changing the battery. Correctly serviced intruder alarms are reliable. Incorrectly or not serviced ones are not reliable
  10. just be caution as some cameras require POE+ and most switches cant do that
  11. Is the poe source big enough to run it all?
  12. It might be part of a part set and will need reprogramming. Is it a honeywell panel?
  13. Battery charging voltage on a non intelligent panel (which I assume this is) should be 13.69 - 13.75 v assuming normal ambient temp. Check charge current and charge voltage on load. Best way to test this is with a partially discharged battery and again when fully charged. I'd be concerned if load reading was below 13v and below 13.5 ish when fully charged An intelligent charge panel will ramp up voltage depending on charge state so harder to test
  14. I can understand the ť and r thing as you could expect transmit to connect to receive etc but it isn't in this world Battery testing. You can get battery testers but load testing a standby battery can cause premature failure. But is a valid test. The best way to load test is to load it depending on its size for a period of time. Ie not seconds or a few minutes. Then confirm the voltage is OK during the test. Doubt it's worth buying a battery tester fo diy main just for this purpose. As 6 I would of been concerned the battery charge circuit was knackered esp if 5v its pro ably split and got acid everywhere
  15. However I'd suggest a new topic for your issues
  16. Tbf tsi used to have some info line this. It got removed when I came back from the dead. Dave had lots of info like this useful to the diy service types which is what I mean.
  17. You can with a link. I'd avoid the sounder option the strobe or as noted app is better. The big Galaxy's can do whatever you want, should you is a different question.
  18. Is that even an option. I don't know visonic but the kit I do know you can't default peripherals as they don't hold any config.
  19. However i do wonder if a guide for things to check on a service could be posted? Systems do need servicing more than regular battery chnages
  20. I'm saying it needs a service as a minimum that will also confirm if anything is damaged (it will be but maybe not fully failed yet) Like a car etc it needs serving and you can either get it done or service it yourself
  21. I'm assuming not serviced in that 8years? It will need a service as a minimum. Battery is probably dead and charging circuit damaged or failed.
  22. There isn't a universal type ie the security of the system needs to be maintained. Also not all panels support all peripherals I'll have a look at the docs and see if the Eaton fob is supported. Iirc that's a newer fob for the ion
  23. It will only work with Eaton units it won't work with generic units
