  1. we are trying to confirm that the unit has failed. If you put a wire link between each set of the terminals to ensure its not external. Im thinking as the built in reed isnt working your fault is here or external.
  2. is it an lcd keypad if so you need to post your log history
  3. No not at all. I'm sure you can appreciate I always want questions I was just assuming there was an overriding issue, sorry
  4. Op you seem to have an issue due to your last few posts, just assuming based on recent it could be an x y thing. why don't you just ask that question?
  5. Daft as it is this showed up in another search. Must will be loads of keypads not operating correctly, who would of thought a non serviced bit of kit would not work perfectly after 20 or so years.
  6. Seen this on ifsec site https://www.ifsecglobal.com/global/thermal-imaging-coronavirus-crisis/ do we think that cctv can be of any use in this? If so is it just for the next few months when its gonna be difficult to install?
  7. No I didnt lol. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) you had external devices connected to the contact transmitter. If so its those id link out with a bit of wire. Maybe a photo of the unit its decades since ive seen one
  8. It will till it sends a tamper restore. I'd try linking everything out. Does it have a rear tamper too?
  9. so you have external contacts wired into it, have confirmed they are not at fault. Maybe a picture of the external wiring and readings?
  10. well it will either be 2gb or 32 limit imo. Dependds on the age i suppose
  11. Yeah it took me a while to find something acceptable at that price point lol
  12. agreed on the uptime, we should set up something to monitor the systems. Us knowing they fail is different to having stats to show they do.
  13. er sorry i dont think so, they seems pretty easy to identify, Maybe electrics isnt best for you or your eyes?
  14. thats not twin and earth then ... But it should still be obvious on the colour no its the kitchen mdf templates before i cut the oak
  15. agreed thats not the pro stuff its their cheaper one
  16. IIRC they are seperate it wouldnt surprise me if each one was 800 or 400mA But you will have additional 12v connections other than hold off for example if you want to balance the loads
