  1. Probably not when your mains is off That's because they are not working properly, chances are they have never been serviced
  2. But as I said above it appears you don't set your alarm at night as it won't alert when it's arned
  3. A mains failure to the alarm needn't be a full house failure, could be a multitude of things and your TV would stay on
  4. Usually once you enter a code to acknowledge the failure it will be silent. Plus if its armed it is also
  5. remove all the cabling for it in the control panel, power and circuit. YOu will then have to remove the tamper from the loop and link out the circuit
  6. you will need to enter your code after powering it back up. Or press reset im unsure. But if you have faults it wont let you reset it till the faults are cleared, ie dont exist anymore
  7. Whats the models of what you have we may be able to work it out?
  8. thats the difficult bit for our sector. Office staff can be but the engineers have to have reduced hours
  9. When furloughed no you cannot do any work for the company that has furloughed you.
  10. i thought it started in china?
  11. Wow that's a hell of a bug with massive implications.
  12. Your still in full time education too
  13. Not by fw files. There is an app for upgrading that will have firmware contained in the exe
  14. If everything else is working I can't see how they are related. There usually isn't any power going to a contact. When was it last serviced etc?
  15. Nothing from nsi yet same response waiting on an official response from the Home office. However Imo its not an inspectorate thing it's a trade association thing
  16. After the news last evening I am currently trying to get official guidance on our status etc Bsia released this yesterday https://www.bsia.co.uk/blogs/43/bsia-to-call-on-government-to-clarify-cr
  17. Normally you would disarm during entry time. Bear in mind most alarms are false are user error, sending the entry fault / fail to disarm in time makes sense
  18. Cos it's a timeout it's telling you. If you read the log it will give you the order
