  1. A 4 or 8mp camera has the pickup to support but may have poor lens, chipset etc. You mention your 5k screen I'm assuming this has a price point etc. Buying cctv on frontend pixel count is like buying a car based on bhp alone, meaningless. A decent 2mp camera will give a better image than a cheap 8mp etc etc. Many people compare phone pickups to what good dslr can do. Just bear in mind it's never about pure specs
  2. try putting just a resistor accross the alarm pair and check it shows correctly
  3. Making it work isn't fixed. You can bypass it but it is low grade stuff
  4. If you have read it I believe it says how to apply and what is needed there is no cost to trade we just have to know that you are
  5. I said this years ago the only bit of kit that knows if your in, out or in bed is the alarm. Should be the hub for everything.
  6. 6 are the circuit feeds 0v if so could you bridge from 0v at the detector and use the 2 cores as separate circuits?
  7. On the upside that's what's expected from us. Gonna save a fortune I need to make everyone redundant...
  8. Be hard to find a buried cable when you dont have a clue. A tone tracker might help to find areas to dig out but unlikely.
  9. Bypass... Link out Need to drill down as to what is the issue one step at A time Get to a known point then add things till it fails
  10. Bypass them at the controller and soak test then the same at the sensor it may be the controller has failed
  11. Thanks for the follow up, but i have never used the decvice in question. So couldnt add anything. Id be cautious of that info as rtsp urls are usually different from each manufacturer unless you can edit them in some way.
  12. Any sensor with pir in it is going to have issues around 35+ ambient
  13. You could yes or there is usually a spacer in the fixing kit
  14. I'm not sure dt will I'd expect the pir side to have the same issue. You might be better with perimeter detection
  15. Is the client or you not fussed about theft of device in that location?
  16. What's the issue detection in a hot area or false alarms. I would always go for perimeter in a conservatory etc
  17. Wireless dt i only know of hkc. It wakes the mw part up when needed I'd assume texe have one tho?
