  1. I use my hkc panel at home to run my lighting etc. Retro fitting home automation linked to the ia is one direction I'd like to go

  3. You might need to enable address one in the panel too, always used to but I haven't worked on a euro in years
  4. If one of us could say that, I'm sure it would already be in development. Sky Google or amazon will control the mass market for security, they will sell it better than any of us could. Then it will cycle round again, the insurers will be miffed, the police and we will still be around to carry on....

  9. That panel didn't exist in 1987 Plus it's the later style the old one was rectangular and had 3 different case options
  10. Iirc c&k were independent based in Redditch before ademco bought them, then honeywell bought ademco

  14. Yes that's a zone omit as a user function. You need to remove the zone in programming.
  15. That bit below the white in the centre levers out to show a cover screw

  19. Iirc someone on here posted about one they had that didn't have an earth etc
