  1. i would leave all sensors on pc2 but my own hallway sensor is on pc1. But id never have a one way system tho
  2. i rate crow detectors, never worked on a crow panel tho
  3. you don't want the led enabled it will destroy battery life. Also they only work once every 3 mins of inactivity. It's one of the many downsides of one way rf systems
  4. no you should be able to unset with any means. I would say you have a config issue.
  5. op 6wb is one of the best on here. as he and I say Id look at keypad comms. you could always pay to get someone lesser than 6wb to look at it
  6. don't know the panel but I'd check keypad comms
  7. the idea behind it back then was so that the numbers would auto update. It was called chc. not sure if it still works tho, never used tap
  8. i have one, fluke LCD thing. used to be used for balancing inputs on multiplexers. can't see what id use it for now
  9. you can put an lcd keypad on them bit I've never put a scope on one
  10. iirc all versions of insure are activated by Pyronix, so you would need to call them and be trade
  11. At 14 years id look to replace but you could change the code if the buttons are worn
  12. AFAIK its all US only ATM. There may be regulatory issues in the UK, ie what grade is alexa?
  13. seen as UK support for voice recognition on alexa and Cortana has just been released it might be a bit till proper kit supports it
  14. i do like how they add 'pro' to it. It's still a diy product that is obviously vulnerable to attack.
  15. damn I hoped one of you could pop round for a look
  16. we all value your advice dave. Im trying diy roof repairs the weekend, just need to borrow a ladder.
  17. agreed but that isn't the feeling from the police themselves. To be fair to matt b he said the same a while ago. The advent of all self mon systems puts us to the point that 999 calls from any system will get a better response than a urn. We also have done the same re cctv. Why go 8418 when you can get a response?
  18. from my end the app is the selling point, not monitoring. Had 2 quotes this week for coppers, both said police response was useless they both said they wouldn't attend in time. I thought if the lads that get the call think its useless what to advise be better when/if ever
  19. I think the gsm only card has been replaced by the dual path one
