  1. are we blocking dyndns lookups. If the current wan ip address is working then id assume that
  2. they can be turned off for all unsets iirc
  3. i think you can program them but I've never put an entry door on z2
  4. if its a newer one then one is the on board 232 module
  5. you would norma;lly have the door on circuit 1
  6. i do have a couple of audi mugs, but not a posh one like norms. I'd assume that's reserved for posh types with an a7 +
  7. digis make iirc 8 calls before a ftc. It was seen on the old 21cn. pstn is dying anyone using it for primary comms has concerns imo
  8. runaway cos of changed provider? this will happen a lot with bt shutting down pstn imo
  9. No one can know all about all brands, I'd say a company can train and support a few well, all less so. Specialise in a few, train and know the products well. Much like cars you wouldn't take your merc to Hyundai garage
  10. assuming its a 50131 system and certificated to g2 then it should of been setup for daily test calls. I'm also assuming you pay your monitoring and maintenance to your installer not the arc?
  11. what zone is your entry door and hall etc on?
  12. It depends which panel, i think they do a little one that is wireless only but they are defiently hybrid
  13. Install manuals etc are only available to trade members, vetted etc
  14. I have a hkc at home. Full Hybrid panel and rock solid. Also has rf pir camera. But you obviously need an installer that supports it. Other than that id go galaxy (used to have at home) or vanderbilt. But vanderbilt maybe out of budget. Do to the age id upgrade your wired components to probably optex rx40 or hkc quads. my 2p
  15. i would keep your wiring also. As with grant i wouldn't use either but if i had to choose between those two, id go for the Texecom. Just change the panel to a Texecom that is hybrid
  16. no it will work on anything. Wireless he would be right but not with wired in this case
