  1. i doubt any of our members would have any useful experience of diy type products. I myself have only removed them
  2. you could put a resistor in series on the speaker. I assume its the entry exit tones?
  3. it depends on risk, building type etc. Id say as a minimum all external doors and double detection ground floor areas. Then trap protection corridors etc
  4. Hi there, wb
  5. i always change the default ports anyway. A lot of providers block 25, 80 443 etc. Is 554 default rtsp?
  6. fss means nothing. How many times have you had Signal but can't make a call. If the signal is important use something that polls and ensures the path is actually there.

  14. digis make iirc 8 calls before a ftc. It was seen on the old 21cn. pstn is dying anyone using it for primary comms has concerns imo
  15. a failed/unsuccessful call is still a call
  16. sorry I meant BMW or audi...
  17. runaway cos of changed provider? this will happen a lot with bt shutting down pstn imo
  18. No one can know all about all brands, I'd say a company can train and support a few well, all less so. Specialise in a few, train and know the products well. Much like cars you wouldn't take your merc to Hyundai garage
  19. assuming its a 50131 system and certificated to g2 then it should of been setup for daily test calls. I'm also assuming you pay your monitoring and maintenance to your installer not the arc?
  20. what zone is your entry door and hall etc on?
  21. is anything connected to it?
