  1. Thanks, understand that, will try it tomorrow.
  2. Thanks for the info James, in layman terms can you explain what buttons to press on the keypad to do this. Sorry to be a pain in the neck.
  3. Hi Rulland, how do I program it to do this?
  4. In the manual it says about program 1 in the factory set conditions, program 1, zone 1- timed, zone 2- time inhibited.
  5. Yes I'm using program 1. My manual does not have any page numbers, but looking at it do you mean the page with how to enter the exit and entry timers? Which I've already tried.
  6. Before I had the problems with the alarm the entry timer to the garage was ok at 20 secs. How do you program zone 2 as entry and exit. Could not see anything in my manual that told you how to do it. James if it tells you in your manual could you please do me an idiots guide.
  7. Not sure, how would you do that?
  8. I have 2 keypads, zone 1 is for the hall zone 2 is for the garage. Exit times in both zones is 20 secs and works ok, entry time to the hall zone 1 is 20 secs and works ok.
  9. Latest update, have now got my alarm working, did a factory reset to the control panel. Everything is working ok, the only thing that is giving me a problem is the entry time to my garage, the alarm is going off immediately. I have tried to alter the time to 20 seconds as instructions but it will not change. Any ideas.
  10. It is meant to click to prove that the tamper switch is working It has no rear tamper switch
  11. Don't think there is a rear one
  12. Yes it has only 2 side screws, the right one operates the tamper switch.
  13. Sorry i did know where the tamper switch is in the BB, it was seated correctly when I fitted the lid on and it clicked when I screwed the holding screw in.
  14. Will post pics of wiring after xmas. Tamper mode was on keypads does not say what has been tampered with. where would the tamper switch be on the BB?
  15. Hi, I'm having problems with my burglar alarm system. To cut a long story short I replaced my old bell box with a new one of the same make and model Ventcroft compact using the engineers code and following the instructions supplied. After doing this it would not work and went into tamper mode. I then turned off the power supply to the control panel took out the fuses and checked them rewired the bell box and rewired the bell box wires in the control panel. I replaced the fuses, switched on the power, nothing happened apart from my keypads won't work no lights showing only a feint glow from the keypad. If I remove the bell box fuse from the control panel the bell box strobes flash and the sounder goes. If I refit the fuse strobes stop flashing and sounder stops. Also I replaced the battery in the control box so that is new. As I don't know what to do to get it into a working mode I have removed the black connection from the battery in the control panel turned off the power supply and turned the battery link in the bell box off. Can anyone please help? I think my control panel is an Accenta G3 without keypad.
