  1. Great idea, I will try this when back on site.
  2. Good question. I did not, assuming a brand new panel out the box would have an erased memory?
  3. Comfort LED's are normal, alternating between the left and right LED's inside the box. On the keypad, if I go to Engineer Utils > Bell Test > On, the bell correctly sounds. Same for strobe when I test. This is the strange thing. The wiring must check out as the bell works when testing from the keypad respectively?
  4. The bell doesn't go off if I open the panel cover Bell doesn't go off if tamper is removed at panel Bell DOES go off if I open the bell box cover Strobe only flashes on alarm being activated/triggered
  5. Same problem. Regardless of how the alarm is triggered (either entry timer expiring or just immediately walking in front of a PIR that is set to Guard) the bell doesn't sound but the internal keypad and strobe goes off...
  6. I haven't programmed anything to change the defaults, is it set to these by default? Will take a look.
  7. Really strange one... it's been a while since I installed a Texecom unit (and that was Veritas) but I've just installed a new Premier Elite 24 (wired) panel. All zones are working, and I can set the system, but when the system alarms (when I fail to enter the user code on entry) but external bell siren does not sound. The strobe on the bell box does however, as does the internal keypad sounder of course. When I test the Bell from the Engineer Utils on the keypad, both the bell and the strobe work respectively. When you remove the lid, the bell siren also sounds as it should for tamper. What could cause the bell siren to not activate when the system goes in to alarm? All wiring must be correct if the Bell test works surely? As its a brand new install, there isn't some default setting I need to set to enable the bell siren is there? (can't imagine why) Bell wiring: Panel wiring: Thanks
