I’ve moved into a new house that has a visonic 33 panel and remote keypad , key fobs tags and the app . I want to make my front & back doors chime . I know you can turn chime on & off at keypad using the No 8, but I’m assuming the relevant sensors need to be programmed. nb . I have been left with installer code as I assume I’ll need to enter that mode . I’ve looked on line at the installer manual , but would like some step by step IDIOT PROOF help so I don’t mess up the whole thing . thanking you in advance ??

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a Visonic PowerMaster 33 G2 alarm system installed at home without any expander. I also have Elmdene 7422-G3F external siren (ADT branded). I would like to use it with my alarm system. I have two questions: - What expander would I have to buy for my alarm - How do I wire the external siren to my alarm system I attached a photo of the siren. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi People, Have not posted here in a long time but I need some help. I am looking to use a new intruder alarm (wireless kit). The Pyronix Enforcer seemed to tick all the boxes, ease of install, features, peripherals, price, tech support and contents of the kit. However, I have asked around a few engineers here in Dublin and they tell me to stay clear because of the app being very unreliable and general end user experience which leads to too many call backs. If you had to recommend any system what would it be and why? Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stephen.

Just a few words to introduce myself. We are a Gold installer of the Visonic wireless range - generally in the Greater Manchester area. Also install CCTV - both AHD and IP and access control (mainly Paxton with small Videx systems) We encourage clients to take systems that can be accessed remotely, particularly by smartphone/tablet. Customer base predominately residential and SME Training has been with manufacturers of the products I install. That's about it unless someone needs a CV to help them sleep at night.

Hi, hoping someone can help. I have an original BT VP1000 Home Monitor unit which I understand is a re-badged Visonic PowerMax. I recently (March 2017) added a new wireless keypad (MCM-140) which has been working perfectly - however on a couple of occasions the main unit has reported a fault that it is unable to communicate with the keypad and then sends out alerts. I am able to clear the alert from the main unit by arming/dis-arming the alarm from the MCM-140 and all is well for a while. I'm guessing that the main unit and keypad communicate with each other at a set time-frequency (for checking purposes) and for some reason this is being interrupted. Does anybody have experience with this type of set-up? Could it be as simple as a new battery is required? Many thanks in advance. Jonathan

Hi All, I did read many post on the forum before starting this one so please excuse me im im repeating someone else question. Im in the middle of trialing a Texecom Odyssey bell box (X-BE) with a visonic powermax complete. I have connected the expander module and that works fine as I also tested a voice box. Now, when it comes to this siren im getting a strange tamper issue. When I open the lid to to release the tamper on the siren the powermax complete panel shows no trouble lights but still says Not ready to arm (z30 open) however I have the siren ringing (because the tamper is open). Weirdly when I close the tamper on the siren the trouble light flicks on and says Z30 is open. I have connected it just as Visonic have said and also enrolled Zone 30 as 24h Audible. connections on Siren to expander A: 12V+ >>>> SRN+ B: Bell >>>> EXT C: Tamp >>>> Z30 D: 0V >>>> GND S: STRB >>>> IN- I have also linked the Tamp with a 2.2K resistor to 0V in the siren aswell use an addition 2.2K resistor inline with z30 on the expander. Could someone tell me if im doing anything wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all. I have a friend who has a Visonic GE350-ATS4 installed in his house. The system has worked flawlessly for the past 2 years but now it has develop this beep every minute. Now, I have never done security alarms, my background is fire alarms and I'm an electrician by trade. As a very good friend of mine I decided to look into this issue. Sadly, he does not has the manual. Anyone knows what this beep refers to or where can I find the manual? A google search was not productive. Many thanks. Albert

Hello,I've currently got no alarm at our property and were hoping someone could give me a few recommendations for a DIY HARD-WIRED system that I could install myself. My original budget was approx £500, however I've had an unexpected flood damage to the property, costing me hundreds of pounds, so unfortunately my budget is now no more than £350.I know it's much less, but I'd rather have some security system, than nothing at all as I'm going on a pre-booked holiday within the next 3 weeks. If possible, I'd like to have:- GSM UPGRADEABLE MODERN Much appreciate your help.
