Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the old alarm company ADE, like when they were founded? Or where they were based? I don't know much about them apart from the fact that they made the majority of alarms in UK homes today, and they weren't exactly high-end Thanks in Advance

Hello hive mind, I have recently bought a property which has an ADE Optima Compact panel installed. I’m unsure what generation but from other forums it appears to be a Gen 4 (I’ll post a picture). The panel is completely unresponsive to anything, no sound or change in LEDs illuminated; the only thing it shows is the power LED illuminated in red. Can anyone suggest anything to help? Thanks in advance.

I have got a new alarm and when I power it up, it just says 'Tamper' nothing I can do, I have linked out all of the tampers, but nothing seems to work... I have include some pictures

I used to be selfemployd before retirering and mostly i used to instal Scantronic panels at that time and lately I have been interested in the Texecom range. Hope to be of help in this forum

Hello everybody! I was just wondering if anyone knows where ADE or now owned by and known as Honeywell manufacture their alarms like the Accenta and the Optima Compact My old Optima XM was made here in the UK but now they are owned by Honeywell and not branded or sold as ADE anymore if anything has changed manufacturing wise or if they are still made in the UK. Thanks for reading
