Guest Guest_Cameron_* Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 the ademco accord system fitted in my house from new will not set as it keeps sensing faults on zones 5, 6, 7 and 8, illuminating the led's and stopping the system setting. i can isolate these manually but this needs to be done each time and also the night set option wont work when I do this. The problem I have is there are only 4 live zones on the alarm, zones 5 6 7 8 have never been connected / made live. is there a way to set the alarm to 'ignore' these unused zones automatically instead of having to manually isolate the zones every time the alram is set? thanks
morph Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 If the zones have never been active and now they are you have a serious fault that needs to be investigated by your installer.

It would be useful to know: - how old is your house and alarm? - Is it or was it ever under a maintenance contract? - Was it installed by the builer or did you get it done? - Has there been a power cut recently? But, as Alarmgard said, you're going to need an engineer anyway.

Jef Customers!
amateurandy Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Theres a common theme to the last two posts!! Not really. JB-EYE is lost, he shouldn't be here. Somehow he escaped from the Trade-only zoo :!: At least I hope that explains his weird questions
