Guest mark the mender Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 hi,got a problem with an ancient norweb panel.dumped the mains power, alarm sounded outside, panel now has all lights showing but wont do anything even full factory reset, cheaper to replace panel????
Rich Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Have you tried servicing it, or going through the procedures to locate the fault? Might be an air lock?
Guest mark the mender Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 yes i cant even get the panel to do anything, dump power, remove battery,re activate mains ,reconnect battery, all panel lights come on the same and panel locked up
Rich Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I'm sure someone familiar with that panel will be able to help, if not tonight, then within the next couple of days at least
Guest Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 NORWEB, probably an Optima then. Prone to locking up for no reason, especially when they aren't regularly serviced. Best bet, if it is an Optima and I would hazard a guess at 15-20 years old, is to bin it and get someone in to sort it out for you.

Norweb used a lot of the old Scantronic panels or the small Menvier ones There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
j.paul Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 9800'S, TS400's ETC Was thinking more the 9450, 9452s, or the TS510 There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
