Hi Chris,

The signal from the camera is called a composite video signal, that signal is used with the rca phono plug connections that you have on the receiver and also scart sockets, so it sounds like you have it connected ok.

Firstly make sure that you can tune into your VCR from your TV, so play a normal tape back with the TV on the channel for the VCR, if you can do that you know you can see the vcr.

Secondly, make sure that when you want to record the camera, that you set the channel on the VCR to AV, or whatever channel it is that records from the scart socket, you should have your TV tuned into the VCR, the VCR channel set to AV and you should see the camera image.

Your problem may be the scart adapter you have, if you cant see the picture from the camera, it is possible that you have the wrong adadpter, the adapters come in various types;

An input type, which will take the images from the camera and supply the signal to the outpput pins of the scart plug

An output type which takes the signal from the VCR and feeds a monitor.

An adapter that has a switch to change between input and output.

So if you are sure you have selected the correct channels but cant see the picture, the chances are you have the wrong adapter.

Also make sure you are using the correct scart input of the vcr if you have a few sockets.
