kka Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Er, me. see. if everybody thought this way. less false alarms etc etc. is prevention not better than cure. to answer the other point, who is to say that one week after a alarm has being serviced, a component does not give in. the point of a MOT is to keep motor vehicles up to a minimiun standard (granted on the day of the test) but surely a tester will look at things and fail them if they have to much wear, ie preventing something more serious from happening. Guest roybhamuk Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Its good point and may well have something to do with a warm sun on your bell box and a dodgy tamper switch, its a long shot but possible! Never give that a thought, I will inspect it and or replace it and also the batteries as "alarmgard" says. I can't remeber when I last changed them. Anyone have any links to a battery supplier
Guest roybhamuk Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 C E F Thanks but the link didn't work for me
