j.paul Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 its all over my head mate. Is this something a local engineer can do? or can i phone british gasand ask them to reset it for me? again... for the replys. andy A local engineer or BG can reset it for you There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
morph Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Make sure that if you dont use BG that the company you use are familliar with DSC many will claim they can, but in reallity they do not have access to the correct manuals and codes, BG panels have different defaults from standard DSC panels.
Guest andy150 Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 for all the advice. But do you mean bg can reset it remotely or will someone have to come out physically?
j.paul Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 for all the advice. But do you mean bg can reset it remotely or will someone have to come out physically? BG will only do this if you are on contract with them and yes they can do it remotely I would get a local engineer/company to do this and check out the system for you, just in case its more than just a reset the panel needs There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
