Guest demili Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 i have a control panel that I required during a house purchase which has the following markings on the motherboard 09600UK-00 and 3H09. Can anybody help me identify it please? Miki
norman Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Yup. user manual here. 9600_user_guide.pdf Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Guest demili Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Scantronic 9600? Are there any signs on the motherboard that could confirm this?
Guest demili Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Yup. user manual here. Ok checked out the scantonic pics ... its the one and the manual useful too. You are a star and top pro dude !! Any idea of what keypad might best go with this?

Any idea of what keypad might best go with this? The only keypad that will work with it as far as I know, is the proper Scantronic 9600 LCD one. They are'nt made anymore, and have'nt been for a while, but you can pick them up off eBay sometimes. They came in white and a very gaudy looking faux gold effect. Trade Member

Is it worth spending time and money on this control panel then?
Deltaseven Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Is it worth spending time and money on this control panel then? Not really. You can pick up the newer scantronics panels for a song these days! And you will get a 1 year warranty. If its a Scanny 9600, its probably at least ten years old.
whistle Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I have a brand new keypad for this panel in my garage ( Never been out of the box)
