Guest dateowner Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Can anyone help? I had a power cut 2 nights ago and since then only one zone is working (all zones operate in test mode). I have searched high and low for the installation/engineers manual (I installed alarm 5 years ago) so I am P***ing in the wind. I have took the battery out (measures 11.08 vdc) turned the power back on without battery connected with still the same problem! (there is nothing visably wrong with the board) Alan PS if it is knackered can anyone recommend a good system?

Guest dateowner Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Hi , Can you explain a bit more..only 1 zone working? what exactly is showing on the panel , does it set / unset , do the keys respond etc. Regards, Yep the panel activates when armed, when i press the omit button only the exit/entry zone 1, tamper and attack is illuminated (day & power is also on), the other zones dont illuminate & will not activate when pressed. If I set the whole system only the exit/entry zone (1) works. Alan

Guest Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Blown fuse? What are the other zones, do led's on the PIR still work? I'm a little confused as to what you've got happening here so apologies if you've already answered the above.
Chris Teague Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Mmmm . crash back to defaults and start again. QFA, prone to problems after power failure, especially if non maintained and low battery is pulling it down. You'll need the engineer manual to default it if you don't know how, but we can't give them out in the forums. (You could be a burglar ) Post your location (town / city) & someone on the forum may be able to help you out Regards Chris Chris Teague (Sales & Operations Manager) Sightguard Intruder Division Covering the Isle of Wight: - Design, Installation, Maintenance & Takeover of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms & Equipment, CCTV, Access Control, Nursecall. All fuses checked they are ok, the PIR are fine I have wired them in series on zone 1, just to get me by. I tested the all PIR with a walk test, all OK. I will have to try to default the system. (when I find my manual)
