Guest Alarm Guard
Hi, How many detectors eg PIRS, magenetic contacts etc can the Securitech 800l take? Thanks Technically, it will support almost unlimited numbers of detectors, but it is unwise to fit more than 1 per zone. If you have several on a zone fault finding can be a nightmare. Paul
tom25
So would it be able to take 8 pirs and 3 door contacts no problem and no extension units? Thanks
morph
You need to work out the total current consumption of all the devices, when the system is in standby and alarm. You also need to factor in the system having to recharge a battery and still function. This factor will limit the amount of devices/sounders etc that you can fit. Listed in the instructions of the panel and each device will be listed its power consumption.

norman
Yes, but it is not too flexible with zone attributes etc, I would personally recommend a texecom, they are far more flexible and a similar price. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

norman
sorry i have no knoledge of alarmsWith all due respect it could be a nightmare then, get a couple of quotes for the installation to be carried out by a professional company, it WILL save a lot of heartache and quite possibly money.
