Guest lol Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 I put in a Veritas c for a mate some time ago. now the panel is humming and driving him (and more inportantly his wife, mad). Please help. Lol
PJF Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 What tune is it humming ? Try and give the four screws on the transformer a half turn each, this should sort it out. Top tip: if you ever catch fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because i bet thats what REALLY throws you into a panic and dont forget the one thing you cant recycle is wasted time.
Anusoflannigan Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Try lavender ..its good for nasty niffs B) Ditto the above its probably a slightly loose transformer
antinode Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Also, you could try removing the panel from the wall and putting some rubber washers inbetween the panel and wall where the screw holes are. Just make sure you disconnect the mains first. You don't have to removed any wires. Also, please bear in mind before you attempt any of these, your panel may be set up for an engineer reset on tamper, so when you take the lid off, you won't be able to reset the alarm (you will be able to silence it but not reset the tamper) Trade Member
