What tools would you guys recomened eg BNC crimping tools etc for most cctv systems and DVR's and do all you guys shop at the same place any recomendations please.

No left left handed spanners or glass hammers.

No I have been living in Spain for over a year installing Intruder Alarms but the buisness has grown and I am going to start installing cctv systems. Its specalist tools really, my English is better than my Spanish and the Prices over here are really High.

I have to go back to the UK alot so I will get my tools from the UK as I know what I will be getting.

Its more connection tools I need really for extending cables and crimping BNC connectors on.

I could just google what I need but I was thinking that you guys may know of some important bits of kit and some really helpful suppliers.

Fella, if your not even sure what tools you need for doing cctv, then what happens when you have to choose equipment to install for you customers, you are really going to struggle, cctv is a whole different ball game from intruder alarms.

As for cctv systems I am not looking at huge council jobs more along the line of private usage and small buisness use 4 channel DVRs and and cameras doesn't take much working out.

The Point of the question was apart from places like MAPLIN any other good places to get your kit from?
