Experience of remote dialling into TS690 panel?

Happy New Year to all,

I am using a Menvier (Cooper) TS690 panel along with NETLCD remote keypads and an SD1+ Speech Dialer.

I would also like to use a laptop whilst I am away from the property to remote dial into the system. I understand that I require a DC6 Digi-Modem and Lineload software?

Does anyone have experience of using the DC6 and/or Lineload software?

many thanks,

SimonB

The menvier software is okay and yes you will need a digimodem for the panel, but depends on what you want to be able to do with the system remotely, as its mainly an engineering tool and not a substitute for standing next to a keypad. You will also need to use a menvier specified modem to ensure it operates correctly, and its not very fast.

Colin.

Thanks for the advise Colin.

The main thing I'd like to do is to be able to dial in and see exactly which sensor had been activated and then reset the panel if required. I've been quoted a good price on the DC6, but an struggling to find a cost on the Lineload software. Have emailed Cooper, may have to wait until they return on the 5th Jan.

B) Hi there

If you manage to get the softwear and get it working give me a shout as I will give it a go as well,My boss has tryed for the last year to make the DC6 and the download softwear work together.

Menvier say that the latest version should work ok. (We will see!)
