Guest Peter James Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 I am able to lay my hands on a quantity of 2.4ghz colour wireless cameras cw 3.6mm lens and audio. They are fairly small around half a matchbox size, fully metal cased, using a pp3 battery they last about six hours , they also have infra red leds but would need to be run off a psu for dark or night time use as the leds draw to much current for battery. They are specified to work at around 50m the one we have on test does work at around this distance (clear line of site), We tried it with the receiver on the ground floor and the cam on the 1st and 2nd floor ok picture on the 1st floor fair picture on the 2nd. The receiver is four channel so I would assume you can use upto four cams at once without cross transmittion. They are all used but as new condition 3 months warrantee, I cannot reveal my source but I can say that it does involve a goverment department. The deal is the more I buy the cheaper I get them I am looking to buy around 30 for ourselves. Would anyone else be interested at around £95.00 + vat per cam and reciever? (Sorry Trade only) If I can get an order together of over 100 the price will drop to around £85.00 +vat I have one sample in stock if anyone near Worthing is interested. If I get enough interest I will post a photo. Pete
Service Engineer Posted January 4, 2004 Posted January 4, 2004 Anything like this one Pete...? The black thing in the middle is a lighter, just thought i`d add it as a referance to size. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
Guest Peter James Posted January 4, 2004 Posted January 4, 2004 Very similar Dave smaller though, The camera looks almost exactly the same but again smaller. I will get the exact dimensions and post them. Does the price sound good value Dave ? How much was yours? Pete
