mitie have their own installation company.

I was under the impression they (Mitie Security) went pop in 2004 (maybe they didnt then), i did a subby job on a newbuild school that had been part wired by them and i had to pick the pieces up and complete the intruder, access & cctv install. Mitie were the site management company on completion though.

Rentokil Initial today announced that they are to commence a "strategic review of Initial Electronic Security business". :rolleyes:

In other words, it is up for sale to the highest bidder !!!!

Worryingly, Management are weighing up a possible buy out deal :no:

I just got another 2 orders through from them today but haven't been paid for Sept & Octobers jobs yet!

Should I be worried/refuse new work?

As for buy outs //.National Installer.// have been around our area offering to buy small companies. I get along with a lot of engineers with other firms and they are a bit worried if their boss accepts.
