Hi everybody,

we have got a panel Sintony 420 on one of our overseas branches. I suppose it a German panel. No manuals. The system comprises 3 areas. The task is to arm one of the areas (which is the strongroom) automatically when the main area is armed (e.g. leaving the office). Although the strongroom must not disarm when the main area disarmes. The installer asserts that it demands arranging access control on the strongroom door so the area is armed every time a person exits the area by an access card. I don't know the panel but I think there must be a more simple and cheaper way to ensure arming of the area when the office get closed. (Arming by a timer or a deffered arming are not good in this case).

Do you have any ideas?

sounds possible but how do you want to disarm it?

sounds the more secure idea to me, having it as 24hr zone

Very tricky panels to work on, i installed serveral of them years ago and they are difficult to work with to say the least. They withdrew them from the UK market when DD243 came in as they didnt comply.

Programming is not easy and the manual they supplied with them is no use whatsoever.

Good luck is all i can say as you'll need it to master a Sintony
