Went to look at a fault on a panel today, installation nothing to do with me, hadn't met the customer before.

Is there any way I can set this back to default and enter a new user code, that is if the engineer code isn't locked out...

yes its very to simple do....... do you really need to take two visits to do this & who's paying??

The panel is an ADE unit, installed around 8 years ago.

there many different ade models, but remember that different pcb versions of the same model default in different ways

if its an original optima or concept with the flush keypad membrane, you should be able to guess the code off the busted buttons
