Guest IM_Alarms Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I keep getting ''Bad site code'' every time i try to log in locally to a new panel. I've tried M800's and M1000's but both the same. I have a lot of existing ''old'' panel with consecutive numbers for site codes and none of them have been problems in the past using similar numbering systems. I tried taking leading zero's out, i've tried putting the same number in as another system and the programme noticed the glitch and told me that it was an already allocated number, so i know that it would have told me if i'd done that by mistake, so to be told ''bad site code'' seems a bit odd. Is it a glitch with the programme? or is anyone else experiencing this? Have i got a setting wrong somewhere? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't got much hair left to pull out, so please help me to at least save the middle one!
Guest rjbsec Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I've had that a couple of times with the earlier Networker panels - every time I found that it was my mistake - I had incorrectly put site no into password and password into site no at the panel or the software. May not be your problem but have you checked you've got them the same in panel and software?
BUSTER Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Have had a few problems with the beta version of the new downloader but now have the finished programme and haven't had any problems whatsoever with the M series stuff Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company

I'll have to wait to try remote access on this project as none of the properties have phone lines yet! Doh Thanks to everyone else for their replies, much appreciated
Guest DOUBLEDOUCH243 Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Hello All, when first connecting to any menvier control panel you must leave the site number & passwords blank. The downloader software (now fully released) puts these numbers in the panel for you. hope this helps.
