norman Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Awww sorry I wish I did a search... sorry sorry...No need to apologise.(I would like to say somethin funny to relax everyone here but my English is not good enough, so it's even worse for me)It has never stopped Georg.I will hit myself for my error Nice thought, but really no need. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
uski Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 If the user has the hood off and plays with the limits switch shutter may not go up, down or stop in right place, or may end going up or down too far knackering the curtain.[...] A very different kettle of fish to alarms. For the shutter, sure it is. But I think that the modern radio control systems have some tricks that are _related_ to the alarm system domain. It's simplier, of course !, but it's related. (I didn't want to mean that installing an alarm is as simple as installing a shutter) Nowadays some control systems are quite complex and require a good training to be configured properly (multi group remotes, wind sensor/remotes priorities for awnings, ...). In fact, I think that my view of an alarm system may be altered by the fact that I have only seen very basic and very old systems so far, like 1990 systems... I'd really need to "play" with a modern system to see the recent features. EDIT: and thanks all for your understanding uski
Guest Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 ...It has never stopped Georg. ... you propably would like him to say something funny in french then?!? and to rest of you: PD6662 is in force only in your island... here (for example) we have to forget to tell about engineer codes so they wouldn't ask. if they ask it will be 2 hours of fight not to give it out..
