scoobs Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 How is the cheapest way to set up call divert? basically im trying to expand into a different town and have found a good local number to that town...been thinking about getting a mailing address in the town so it looks like i have a business presence there... If i get a "call divert" to divert the new number to my existing number set up with B.T it will cost me a fortune every time someone phones me...Is there another way?? I dont want to pay for the customer phoning me asking me all sorts at my expense. Regards Scoobs
Gopher Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 One possiblity (no idea if this is actually possible). Phone call to Skype Enabled Phone -> PC -> Broadband ----- Broadband -> PC -> Skype Phone.. I hope you get what I mean here I do believe there are systems (no idea how inexpensive thought) that allow you to set up a branch with only a BB link and give them access to phones via that link. Intruder / CCTV / Access Control Technical Support Personal Subscriber to the "K.I.S.S" principle, that's Keep It Simple Stupid, are you?
Nova-Security Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 You could do it that way using VOIP, but its not 100% reliable also you would need somewhere to sit a PC www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
leesutton Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 You could get an 0845 or 0870 number (local rate) and piggy back it onto your existing number then people dont know where you have or havnt got an office......
