:signthankspin: As I said I've dropped a clanger and some of the cabling, the ones to other than PIR's is next to mains. I already have an ACT1313 spike suppressor fitted and have not suffered any false alarms so far in the last 6 months that I fitted it.

Will this do in the short term until I get round to sorting the wiring out? I'm thinking up to 12 months.

ACT 1313 should sort it for good, those guys there know their stuff.

If this is correct then segregated/partioned distribution plastic trunking as used round offices etc cannot comply!!! ?????

It does because of the physical segregation. The seperation rule is for free air\surface mounted cabling.

This was mentioned in a thread elsewhere recently, can't remember where.
