Guest Apul Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Hello fine people. Interesting place you have here. I hope someone can offer some advice. I'll try to keep it brief. Moved in to house. Taking tiles off kitchen. Knocked sensor cover off. Set tamper alarm off on control panel. We were told by estate agent the alarm was disabled and there was no code as far as he knew. We rang //.National Installer.// who we assume the deceased previous owner had a service agreement with, they wanted
Vince8282 Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Hi Apul Unfortunitly we can't give out the info you require in the public forum but if you post your location one of the members near to you may be able to drop in and sort it for you. It is simple when you know how. You can expect to pay anything from Practice in the morning, practice at night. Practice in the evening, until you get it right. Only make sure you are practising in the right way at the right time for it.
whistle Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Post your location and i am sure there is an engineer on here covers your area.
arfur mo Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 i got to say this is an emergency call out on a sunday, now i'm no fan of //.National Installer.// but to me If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Guest Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 That seemed reasonable for a sunday call out by one of the biggies.
Guest Apul Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 We are in Co Durham. Yeah we guessed the price was higher because it was Sunday. We've managed to get some advice for now which should see us through. Theres nothing in the house to be stolen anyway and the alarm is probably one of the last on the lists to think about. Thanks for all your help. I'll stick around and if anyones puts their company name on here we will keep you in mind as I think we should be getting it serviced when the time comes! Paul
